The seller of tokens and subscriptions bought on the website, in the web app or by Mobile Money is AENSSecurX LLC. The descriptor on your statement is LIBCOMPLUS. For purchases made in the app of an app store (Google Play, then App Store), see section 9.4.
2. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms of Use and Sale (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the LibComPlus application (Android, iPhone, web app) and of the libcomplus.com website (together, the "Services"), and the purchases made through them.
By creating an account or using the Services, you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services.
3. Definitions
- Account: your personal space, identified by your phone number.
- Token: an internal unit of account used to pay for certain services. A token is not money, a means of payment or a financial instrument.
- Earnings: amounts recorded for a creator following gifts, memberships, tickets or content sales (section 14). Earnings are separate from tokens.
- Content: any text, message, image, video, sound, document or data that you publish, send or upload.
- Public content: content made visible to people you do not know, in particular in Explore (videos, lives, public channels, public Moments, Marketplace).
- App store: the application store (Google Play, App Store) from which the application was installed.
- Creator: a user who publishes public content, broadcasts lives or runs a channel.
4. Account, minimum age and phone number
4.1 Minimum age. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or the higher age required by the law of your country. Some features are reserved for adults (18 and over): broadcasting a live, receiving gifts, seeing advertising. If you are under 18, read these Terms with your parent or legal guardian.
4.2 Accuracy. You provide accurate information, in particular your mobile phone number, which is your identifier. One account per person, unless we authorise otherwise. You may not create a new account to get around a suspension.
4.3 Phone number verification. You can prove that the number is yours:
- by a missed call (you type the last digits of the number calling you);
- by a code received by SMS or WhatsApp, depending on availability in your country;
- or by a Mobile Money payment made from that number.
Until your number is verified, it is shown as "unverified". Your contacts are then not told that you have joined, and they can only write to you through a message request. An unverified number is not used to adjust prices (section 9.2).
4.4 Security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the use of your account. Tell us without delay about any unauthorised use.
5. Description of the Services
LibComPlus lets you communicate in your own language with people who speak other languages:
- one-to-one and group messaging, with translation of written and voice messages;
- one-to-one and group audio and video calls, with translation and subtitles;
- Trad: translation of text, photos and face-to-face conversations;
- LibDoc: listening to, summarising, questioning and studying documents; recording meetings and producing their minutes;
- Explore: videos, lives, channels, language communities, Moments, Marketplace;
- automated assistants for individuals and shops.
Some features are free; others are paid for in tokens. The price of any paid action is shown before you confirm it. A conversation between people who speak the same language involves no translation and costs no tokens.
6. Translation, voice and automated processing
6.1 Automated processing. Translation, speech recognition, synthetic voice, subtitles, summaries, assistants and the safety analysis of images and videos are produced by automated systems, operated by us and by technical providers acting on our behalf (see the Privacy Policy). Replies from an automated assistant are always labelled as such.
6.2 Quality. Despite our care, an automated translation, transcription or summary may contain errors. For medical, legal, financial or administrative use, have the text checked by a professional. You remain responsible for how you use the content produced.
6.3 No training on your messages. We do not use the content of your messages, calls or documents to train artificial intelligence models.
7. Privacy and message security
To translate a message, our servers must be able to read it for the time of the translation. We therefore apply the following to all conversations:
- exchanges are encrypted in transit (TLS) between your device and our servers;
- messages are encrypted at rest on our servers (AES-256) for messages sent since 30 September 2026; earlier messages are protected by our host's disk encryption;
- a message to be translated is decrypted in memory only, for the time strictly needed for the translation, and the translation is then encrypted in turn.
LibComPlus does not claim that its messaging is inaccessible to its own servers. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
8. Tokens
8.1 Nature. Tokens are an internal unit of account. They have no monetary value outside the Services, are not refundable in money (except under section 11), cannot be transferred for consideration, and cannot be converted into earnings.
8.2 Use. Tokens pay for:
- translation, voice and artificial intelligence services;
- Explore services: uploading and broadcasting videos, subtitles and dubbing, lives, gifts, memberships, tickets, promotion, advertising;
- certain optional items (stickers, creating a channel).
The price of each action is shown before you confirm. If your balance is insufficient, the action is not carried out.
8.3 Types of tokens and validity.
| Type | How you get them | Validity |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-up tokens | Once per person: 100 tokens at the date of this version. The number announced when you sign up applies. | One calendar month from receipt |
| Subscription tokens | Each month of your plan | Until the end of the period; the unused part is lost, except the carry-over provided by your plan (shown in the app) |
| Tokens bought on the website, in the web app or by Mobile Money | Purchase of a pack | 90 days from purchase |
| Tokens bought in the app of an app store | Purchase through Google Play (then App Store) | No expiry date |
| Referral and promotional tokens | Under section 12 or the offer | Period stated when granted |
8.4 Sign-up tokens in two steps. We may credit part of the sign-up tokens immediately and the rest once you have verified your number (section 4.3). The cost of the verification may then be deducted from that rest, up to the limit shown in the app. When this arrangement is active, it is announced before sign-up. At the date of this version it is not active: all sign-up tokens are credited at sign-up.
8.5 Order of use. Tokens are used in this order: subscription tokens, then free tokens, then purchased tokens (those expiring soonest first). Your earnings are never used to pay on your behalf.
8.6 Sharing. You may give tokens you have bought to another person, under the conditions shown. Free or promotional tokens cannot be shared.
9. Purchases, prices and payment methods
9.1 Purchase channels. Depending on how you use LibComPlus:
- website and web app: payment by bank card (provider: Stripe) or by Mobile Money (provider: PawaPay — MTN MoMo, Orange Money, Airtel Money, M-Pesa, Wave and other operators, depending on the country);
- app installed from an app store: when in-app purchase is open, purchases are made exclusively through the app store's payment system. Until it is open, the app-store application offers no purchases.
LibComPlus never stores your card details or Mobile Money credentials. Tokens are credited, or the subscription activated, once the provider has confirmed the payment.
9.2 Prices. Prices are shown before purchase.
- On the website, in the web app and by Mobile Money, they are shown excluding taxes. If a tax is due on your purchase and we collect it, it is added at checkout; in every case, the total amount you pay is shown to you before you confirm.
- The token price of certain services may be adjusted to your plan and to the country of your verified number, never above the reference price. The price shown before the action is the price charged.
9.3 Invoice. Your invoices are available in the app (Settings › Subscription and invoices) and sent by e-mail if your address is confirmed.
9.4 Purchases in an app store. For a purchase made in the app of an app store:
- the app store acts as reseller and collects the payment;
- prices are set by the app store in local currency, taxes included. They may differ from website prices because they include the app store's commission;
- the app store issues the receipt and handles refund requests under its own rules (section 11.4);
- the app store's terms apply in addition to these Terms.
10. Subscriptions
10.1 Plans. The content of each plan (tokens per month, any carry-over, benefits, video storage space) is shown in the app before you subscribe.
10.2 Term and renewal.
- By card: renewed automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- By Mobile Money: not renewed automatically; it ends with the paid period.
- In an app store: renewed automatically under the app store's rules; cancellation is made in the app store (for example Google Play › Payments and subscriptions).
10.3 One active subscription. You may have only one active subscription, across all channels. If you change plan in an app store, the new plan replaces the old one. If you subscribe on the web after cancelling an app-store subscription, the new subscription starts at the end of the period already paid.
10.4 Cancellation. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. You keep access and the tokens of the current month, and no further charge is made. Deleting your account cancels a card subscription.
11. Right of withdrawal and refunds
11.1 Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you in principle have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Tokens and digital services are supplied immediately after payment. By confirming your purchase, you expressly request this immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal for tokens used and services performed.
11.2 What we refund, beyond the law. For purchases made on the website, in the web app or by Mobile Money:
- unused purchased tokens, on request within 14 days of purchase;
- the whole purchase in the event of a technical error attributable to us (double charge, tokens not credited, service unavailable to the point of making the purchase unusable);
- the whole purchase in the event of an unauthorised payment, after verification;
- for a subscription, the first period of your very first subscription if you withdraw within 14 days, less the tokens used. Later periods are not refunded pro rata.
11.3 What we do not refund.
- Tokens used: the service has been performed.
- Free, promotional or referral tokens.
- Expired tokens.
- Gifts sent to a creator (section 14.1).
- Explore services already performed. Exception: video upload is refunded in the cases set out in section 13.3.
11.4 Purchases in an app store. A refund for a purchase made in an app store must be requested from the app store. When the app store refunds or cancels a purchase:
- the corresponding tokens are taken back;
- if part has already been used, it is recorded as a negative balance, deducted from your next credits;
- the earnings a creator received from those tokens may be taken back within 14 days (section 14.4).
11.5 Request. Write to support@libcomplus.com from your account's e-mail address, or giving its phone number, with the date and invoice number. We reply within 5 business days. An accepted refund is paid back to the original means of payment within 14 days.
12. Referral
12.1 How it works. Each user has a referral link and code. The referrer receives tokens when the referred person makes a first purchase of at least the amount shown in the app, after a 30-day verification period. Nothing is due for a mere sign-up. The schedule (amounts per tier, bonuses) is shown in the app.
12.2 Nature of rewards. Referral rewards are paid in tokens, valid for 90 days unless stated otherwise. No cash commission is paid for referrals.
12.3 Fraud. Accounts created to manipulate the programme, self-referral and refunded or disputed purchases give no right to any reward. We may cancel rewards obtained fraudulently and suspend the programme for an account.
13. Explore: public content, videos, lives and channels
13.1 Public content. What you publish in Explore may be viewed, translated, subtitled, dubbed, recommended and shared by other users, within the visibility you choose (public, members, followers). You warrant that you hold all necessary rights to your content, including third-party music, images and voices.
13.2 Waiting period and moderation before publication. To publish a video, your account must be at least 24 hours old. Videos and images are checked before being made public (section 18).
13.3 Video upload.
- Price. Uploading a video costs a number of tokens per started minute, shown before upload. It covers conversion for playback, the safety check and automatic transcription.
- High definition. The 1080p option is reserved for the plans shown in the app. It costs a surcharge shown before upload, refunded if the original video does not have that definition.
- Refund. The upload price is refunded if the video cannot be processed, or if it is rejected by moderation before publication. It is not refunded if the video is removed after publication for breach of the Terms, or if you delete it.
- Retention. A published video stays online with no time limit, until you delete it, within the storage space of your plan. The original file you uploaded is deleted after the retention period shown, which is 30 days after publication at the date of this version. Only the playback versions are kept: keep a copy of your original file.
- Limits. Maximum duration, number of uploads per day and storage space depend on your plan and are shown in the app.
13.4 Subtitles and dubbing.
- Subtitles for a video in a new language are paid once, by the first viewer who requests them, at the price shown. They are then free for other viewers.
- Dubbing a video into other languages is paid, at the price per minute and per language shown. Some minutes may be offered each month.
13.5 Lives.
- You must be an adult to broadcast a live.
- The price of a live (per minute of broadcast, per language translated with voice or subtitles only, recording, delivery to viewers) is estimated before launch and charged as it goes. The live stops if your balance runs out.
- Recording and replay. A live may be recorded and published as a replay. Co-hosts and guests are told that the live is recorded before they speak or turn on their camera.
- Live chat. Chat messages are translated for viewers. The host and the host's moderators can hide a message, mute or remove a participant, enable slow mode and filter words. We may also intervene.
- Sanction. A live broadcast by a suspended or banned account is stopped.
13.6 Channels. A channel may offer paid memberships in tokens, giving access to reserved posts. Translation of a channel's posts is paid by its owner, at the price shown. The owner may delete comments.
14. Gifts, memberships, tickets and creator earnings
14.1 Gifts. During a live or on a post, you can send a gift to a creator, paid with purchased tokens, at the price shown. Confirmation is requested above a certain amount. A gift sent is not refundable, except in the event of technical error or fraud.
14.2 Memberships, tickets, replays and pay-per-view videos. You can pay in tokens for a channel membership, a live ticket, access to a replay or a pay-per-view video. The content of the offer and its price are shown before purchase.
14.3 Creator earnings.
- The amounts paid by viewers, less the LibComPlus commission, are recorded in the creator's earnings balance.
- The commission is 30% on gifts. On memberships, tickets and replays it ranges from 30% to 20% depending on the creator's plan. The current schedule is shown in the app.
- Earnings are separate from tokens. They are never spent automatically. The creator may voluntarily convert them into tokens.
- Earnings go through a maturation period (14 days at the date of this version) before becoming available.
14.4 Taking back earnings. If the original purchase is refunded, cancelled or disputed, or in the event of fraud, the corresponding earnings may be taken back, within 14 days for app-store purchases and, in the event of fraud, at any time.
14.5 Withdrawals. Cash withdrawal of earnings is available only on the website and web app, never in an app-store application. The withdrawal service is not yet open; when it opens, the following conditions will apply:
- eligibility: account open for at least 30 days; identity verified (identity document checked manually by our team); and either at least 1,000 subscribers on your channels or acquired earnings of at least the withdrawal minimum;
- value: 1 earnings token = €0.02;
- minimum: €50 per withdrawal (2,500 earnings tokens), also shown in your currency;
- fee: 3% of the amount withdrawn;
- methods: Mobile Money, to the number verified during the identity check, in the countries served by our provider PawaPay; or payout via Stripe elsewhere;
- each request is reviewed by our team before payment.
You alone are responsible for your tax and social obligations on your earnings.
15. Marketplace and shops
15.1 Connecting buyers and sellers. The Marketplace allows merchants to present their products and connects sellers and buyers. LibComPlus is not a party to sales concluded between them, does not collect their price and guarantees neither the products, nor delivery, nor payment.
15.2 Merchants' obligations. The merchant complies with the law applicable to the sale: consumer information, warranties, authorised products. Prohibited in particular: weapons, drugs, prescription medicines, counterfeits, protected animals, adult content, dangerous or unlawful products.
15.3 Translation of listings. Translation of listings and of the shop into the reader's language is paid by the merchant, at the price shown, within the daily limits indicated. The original product name is kept.
15.4 Shop location. The location a merchant saves for the shop is visible to people who can see the shop (see the Privacy Policy).
16. Advertising and promotion
16.1 Advertising. Advertisements, labelled "Advertisement" or "Sponsored", may appear in public areas of Explore. There are none in conversations, calls or documents. No advertisement is shown to a person whose adulthood has not been established, and none is targeted at a minor.
16.2 Advertisers. A user may buy a campaign in tokens. Each advertisement is reviewed before it runs. Targeting is limited to language and country. The advertiser is responsible for the lawfulness of the advertisement and the offer. A rejected campaign is refunded.
16.3 Promotion. You can pay in tokens to promote a video, channel, Moment, scheduled live or product, for the duration and at the price shown. Promotion does not guarantee an audience.
17. Rules of use
You undertake to use the Services lawfully, fairly and respectfully. In particular, you must not:
- publish or send unlawful content: child sexual abuse or exploitation material, incitement to hatred or violence, glorification of terrorism, harassment, threats, non-consensual sexual content, invasion of privacy, defamation, infringement;
- impersonate a person or organisation, or use someone else's phone number;
- send spam, scams, malicious links or viruses;
- access the Services, our systems or other users' data without authorisation, or scrape them by automated means;
- create accounts by automated means, or fake accounts to manipulate referrals, gifts, reviews or audiences;
- resell or rent the Services, or tokens, outside the features provided;
- circumvent limits, prices or security measures.
18. Moderation, reporting and appeals
18.1 Automated checking. Images and videos shared in conversations, groups, Moments, channels, profiles, shops and Explore are analysed automatically to detect manifestly unlawful content. In conversations and groups, a media item is shown to its recipients only after this analysis. Detected content may be reviewed by an authorised member of our team. Your text messages are not analysed for advertising or profiling.
18.2 Reporting. You can report from the app any content, message, profile, live, video, channel, shop or advertisement, and any behaviour contrary to the law or to these Terms. Anyone, even without an account, can report unlawful content to safety@libcomplus.com. Reports are handled diligently, by order of severity; those concerning a child's safety or a threat are handled first.
18.3 Measures. Depending on severity, we may:
- issue a warning;
- remove content or make it invisible;
- restrict features;
- stop a live;
- suspend or close an account.
Child sexual abuse material is blocked, preserved as evidence and reported to the competent authorities where the law requires.
18.4 Statement of reasons. When we take a measure concerning you, we inform you, unless the law prohibits it or there is a safety risk. We state the measure, its duration, the content concerned, the reason (rule or law at issue) and, where applicable, the use of automated processing.
18.5 Internal appeal. You may challenge a decision within 6 months, from the app ("Challenge") or at support@libcomplus.com. A member of our team, where possible not the author of the decision, reviews it and replies to you.
18.6 Out-of-court settlement. If you reside in the European Union, you may also refer the matter to any out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under article 21 of the DSA. You may also go to court.
18.7 Legal hold. Content and accounts concerned by a child-protection case are preserved as evidence, even if their author deletes them, under the conditions described in the Privacy Policy.
19. Protection of minors
LibComPlus applies zero tolerance to child sexual exploitation and abuse. Our child safety standards are published at libcomplus.com/securite-enfants. To report an account that appears to belong to a person under 16, or any risk to a child: in the app, or at safety@libcomplus.com. Minors see no advertising and can neither broadcast lives nor receive gifts.
20. Intellectual property and licences
20.1 Your content. You remain the owner of your content.
20.2 Licence to provide the Services. You grant LibComPlus a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, process, translate, transcribe and transmit your content, solely to provide the Services. This licence lasts for as long as your content is retained.
20.3 Additional licence for public content. For your public content, this licence also includes the right to display it, subtitle and dub it into other languages, recommend it, and show excerpts or thumbnails within the Services. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already shared by other users and copies retained for legal reasons.
20.4 Our rights. The Services, their software, trademarks, logos, interfaces and databases belong to LibComPlus or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use them in accordance with these Terms.
20.5 Infringement of your rights. If content infringes your rights (copyright, trademark, image), report it in the app or at legal@libcomplus.com, specifying the content, your rights and your contact details.
21. Third-party services
The Services may give access to third-party services: app stores, payment providers, maps, sharing apps. Their own terms govern their use. We are not responsible for these services.
22. Liability
22.1 Our commitment. We use reasonable means to provide reliable and safe Services. The Services may nevertheless suffer interruptions or errors, in particular translation errors (section 6.2).
22.2 Limits. To the extent permitted by law, LibComPlus is not liable for:
- indirect damage (loss of opportunity, data or profit);
- the content and conduct of other users, merchants and advertisers;
- sales concluded on the Marketplace;
- use of the Services contrary to these Terms.
Except for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and except for personal injury, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. These limits do not deprive a consumer of the rights granted by the mandatory law of their country of residence.
22.3 Your liability. You are responsible for your content and for the use of your account, and you indemnify us against any third-party claim resulting from your breach of these Terms.
23. Suspension, termination and account deletion
23.1 By you. You may delete your account at any time (Settings › Delete my account, or on app.libcomplus.com, or by writing to privacy@libcomplus.com; see libcomplus.com/suppression-compte).
- Deletion becomes final after a 30-day period, during which you can cancel it.
- It results in the loss of unused tokens. Available earnings must be withdrawn beforehand, when withdrawal is open.
- It ends a card subscription: no renewal takes place after your request. An app-store subscription is cancelled in the app store.
- It erases your files, including your videos and live recordings.
23.2 By us. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms or of the law, fraud, risk to the safety of other users, or at the request of an authority. The measure applies on all your devices and is notified to you with its reason (section 18.4). During a suspension, you can still request a copy of your data or the deletion of your account. In the event of closure for serious breach, unused tokens are not refunded, subject to your statutory rights.
24. Availability and changes to the Services
The Services may evolve: new features, changes to or withdrawal of existing features. We give at least 30 days' notice before withdrawing a major paid feature, except in an emergency (security, abuse, legal obligation). The Services may be interrupted for maintenance.
25. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. For a significant change, we inform you in the app and, where possible, by e-mail, at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept the new version, you may delete your account before that date and request a refund of purchased tokens not yet used, under section 11.5. Changes required by law or security may apply sooner.
26. Governing law and disputes
26.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (United States). If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence.
26.2 Complaints. For any complaint, first write to support@libcomplus.com or, for a legal matter, to legal@libcomplus.com. We acknowledge receipt and reply within 30 days. This step does not deprive you of any remedy available to you under applicable law, including bringing proceedings before the competent court.
26.3 Jurisdiction. Failing agreement, the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have jurisdiction. However, if you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your domicile, and we may bring proceedings against you only before those courts.
27. Miscellaneous
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy (
libcomplus.com/remboursement) and the rules shown in the app form the agreement between you and LibComPlus. - If a clause is held invalid, the others remain applicable.
- Failure to exercise a right is not a waiver of it.
- We may assign the contract to a company taking over the Services, after informing you. You may not assign your account.
28. Reference language
These Terms are published in several languages. The French version prevails in the event of any discrepancy, subject to mandatory rules of your country of residence requiring another language.
